Pilgrimage to Catholic Wisconsin
October 5 – 12, 2026
Our Lady of Champion, also known as Our Lady, Help of Christians, the only approved Marian apparition in the United States, near Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Pilgrimage in the land where Mary appeared, miracles occur, and the faith of many waves of immigrants shaped a deep and abiding faith.
The Blessed Mother appeared in Champion, just outside Green Bay to an immigrant Belgian woman who went on to catechize hundreds.
Holy Hill has been a place of prayer and pilgrimage — and miracles! — for more than a century.
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe has been called by many the most peaceful place they have ever visited.
Milwaukee has some of the most breathtaking churches, plus a chapel built in the 1400s and imported from Europe.
Plus the National Shrine of St. Joseph, Vince Lombardi, Rudolph Gardens, and more holy sites.
We always weave in plenty of local flavor, which in Wisconsin’s case will mean cheese, and perhaps a brewery tour or two.
We hope you will join us on a fall pilgrimage to Catholic Wisconsin.
Full details and registration coming soon.

Dear Friends!
Come on a pilgrimage to Wisconsin!
When we started doing this podcast we had no idea whatsoever that so much amazing Catholic history happened in Wisconsin.
- The only approved Marian apparition in the United States
- A site of pilgrimage and miracles that dates back to the 17th century French explorers
- A 15th-century gothic chapel imported from Europe
- A breathtaking basilica built entirely from the stones salvaged from a demolished federal building
- Saintly missionaries and an epochal football coach who wore his faith on his sleeve
All this and so much more made me sit up and take note.
So we had to plan a pilgrimage to this blessed land, and we invite you to join us!
We’re going in the fall, so the trees will be glorious, leaves will be crackling under foot, and the air will be refreshing.
Plus, no trip to Wisconsin would be complete without sampling some of their world-renowned cheese, and checking out a brewery to celebrate their northern European heritage.
