He cold-called Bob Hope to get his “Family Theater” radio show on the air. He coined the phrase “The family that prays together, stays together.” Father Patrick Peyton led rosary rallies and prayer gatherings that welcomed many thousands of people. Eventually he worked alongside the CIA to oppose communism in places like the Philippines.
