During World War II many U.S. servicemen had interesting experiences of the Capuchin franciscan friar Padre Pio. Now known as St. Pio of Pietrelcina, Padre Pio was known to read souls, bi-locate, and fly when bombers were threatening to bomb the wrong place, or a parachute failed to open.
